About Me and My Book:
Maxine is an Author/Poet/Writer/Editor/Publisher with an extraordinary passion for writing and the Author of a collection of poetry titled, "REFLECTIONS OF LIFE". Maxine has finished three books of Poetry and she is currently working on a fourth book of raw Erotic Poetry. Maxine is also working on three Short Stories based on real life situations, two books of Erotic Fantasies, two Screenplays and, a Horror.

Maxine's creative flow does not allow her to work from one book at a time therefore; she carries around 5-7 notebooks everyday. Her writing skills enable her to switch back and forth between manuscripts without a problem maintaining the accuracy of each project. Maxine has a unique style of writing. Borders or some sort of design on every page in her books represents her distinguished style.

Various sites on the Internet are home to many articles she has written. Her articles deals with situations we see far too often in every day life. Maxine hopes that the information in her articles will pass on some insight to her readers.

Maxine's genres Include but are not limited to: Poetry, Erotica, Short Stories, Screenplays, Horror, Articles, Etc.

REFLECTIONS OF LIFE by MAXINE P. SOSO

A collection of poetry totally unique and, unlike no other. The creativity reaches heights that step out of the box and away from the norm. Every page in "REFLECTIONS OF LIFE" is adorned with beautiful borders. The first thirteen poems are accompanied by illustrations that interpret the depth of each poem. The other poems are categorized in sections as follows:

1. LOVE, ADMIRATION AND, LUST
2. LIFE

I chose to use a different border for each poem to give it a unique appeal. I hope the originali… Continue

ANOTHER EXCERPT FROM: "MARITAL BONDAGE"

Our circumstances did not allow David and I to play house before officially living together therefore, we just went for it. Being that we have known each other for well over twenty years I figured we knew damn near everything about each other. I actually thought it was going to be like a Cinderella story. I mean we were so much in love. Boy, was I ever wrong about this man. If I had only known what I was in for, I would have ran in the other direction so fast, that skid marks would have been lef… Continue

Excerpt from page one of my upcoming book titled: "Marital Bondage"

"Marital Bondage" is a story about being in love with that special someone who makes you feel like, you want to spend your life with him or her.
In the beginning, everything is peaches and cream. Then as time
goes on, that person, start to change up on you. They seem to take on a
whole other personality. The loving stops, the sweet talk stops,
attitude for no apparent reason. Come to find out, they have developed
what I call, “ The Jekyll & Hyde Syndrome. Your life as you once
knew, now c

" ( SEDUCTION ) AN APHRODISIAC FOR LUST "

Orgasmic tendencies seem to linger
when I reminisce about the nights
that we've spent baring our souls
unfolding the blanket which covers our hearts
We start to reveal our most intimate desires
lighting the fire that sparked from the beginning
Stimulating my senses as you undress my breasts
just the way I like it
slowly brushing the fabric across my nipples
making them hard, so hard
Suck it Baby!
You know I love the way it feels
when you try to devour these 44DD's in one shot
Yes Baby! Tha

" YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME "

I've never understood
the true meaning of love
until you came into my life
I now know the feeling
associated with being in love
the tingling sensation
that runs through my veins
with just the thought of you
It's a weird feeling
because...
I've never felt that before
but, I like it
I wouldn't trade that feeling
for anything else
And...
it feels good
When I...
hear, write
or, even see your name
I get

" IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT "

I awaken at night trembling
savoring fictitious although explicit
manipulation of my mind
Propelled by an immense stimulant
triggering...
Riveting intoxicating delight
infuriated by erratic resistance
yet, engrossed by the devilishly
vigorous, mind-blowing activities
that begins to take place
as I try to suppress this additive demon
that has totally monopolized my all
but...
I like it
it's getting harder to resist
I have no choice
but, to give in
there's no chance of escapin

Thanks for inviting me. I read your post on my page and I think to get a more balanced picture of PublishAmerica, you might also want to check with Steven Clark Bradley. My experience with them was at best neutral. The did all they said they would but they come right out and say they won't do much more than print the book and make it available. I think it might be worth your time to seek a small press publisher such as Enspiren Press or the like. They will take the time, if they accept your book, to not only provide assistance with marketing, but to help cultivate your writing and talents. I wish you the very best, and woul welcome the opportunity to talk with you anytime.
