- I am a preacher's daughter who was sexually abused by my father for ten years when i was a child. Naturally, this completely polluted my concept of God, love, trust, and father. This book is a story about the carnage that sexual abuse leaves in the heart of every child who experiences it. It is my story of being a preacher’s daughter in search of a loving, Heavenly Father who would give me the courage to forgive and trust again. A Heavenly Father so unlike my earthly father that the difference would literally baffle me for years.
My book is entitled "Out of the Miry Clay: Freedom from Childhood Sexual Abuse" and was released on June 2, 2008. Already it has sold copies in England, Canada, Germany, France, Scotland and Ireland. I am literally amazed at the response to this book. People are getting saved and set free reading this book. I want to tell the world that there is a way out of the horrible pain of abuse and His wonderful name is Jesus!

When I first met Linda Fossen in May 2005, it was clear that she had been traumatized by destructive events that had occurred earlier in her life and that the consequences of these events were continuing to haunt and affect her daily functioning.
