- Born in the early 1950’s into a first and second generation Italian family in Mount Vernon NY, I learned at a very early age I wasn’t like everyone else in the family. I had a dream of becoming a writer and pursued that dream since as far back as I can remember. My first writing was a musical play entitled “Dreaming My Life Away” in the mid 1970’s. Music was my first love during that time and I have written over 40 songs in all genres of music.
I was married in 1974 to my wife Camille and have three beautiful girls that I am very proud of. Currently we’re living in North Dallas Texas, since 2000 but I consider myself and my family NY’ers through and through. I hold a Master of Arts degree in business and I am currently working on two projects, a novel and an Italian cookbook, coming out later this year.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
