I'm sure one in lexington is all filled up. You need to sign up almost a year in advance for that one. If you google Almost Famous Authors Faire it should direct you to there sight. That is the one in Louisville. I think it is nearing deadline for that. And I also beleive there is an extra amount on registration fee after October 1st. But you should be able to get in yet.
Hello Kelly,
Look forward to seeing you and meeting you at the fair. Are you signed up for the lexington book fair or the Almost famous Authors Fair in Louisville in November
Hi Kelly. Saw you post in Promote Your Book. I'm working on that too.
I'm setting up my own blog tour, free; but many weeks of hard, time consuming work. I'm hoping to have enough blogs to do 4/week for 3 months. Have to give away a book at each blog so there's some expense there.
I've gotten 7 reviewers to review my book so far. Some of the reviews won't show up for 1-2 more months.
Hold book giveaway contests that you promote through social sites. Make sure you use a email capture program that people must fill out before entering.
Trailers aren't free, but they are pretty much a must have on your site.
Use BookBuzzr to create a free sample chapter with a great eye-catching widget.
Create free podcasts of you reading a chapter, that people can subscribe to through Itunes.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many more ways. Good luck
