About Me and My Book:
Joe “Silly” Sottile is a children’s poet, performing poet, and author. Joe taught 33 years as a teacher (grades 2-6) in Rochester.
He loves reading, writing, performing, biking, golf, and kids. He has five wonderful grandkids. He has published three poetry books: Bathroom Vacation and Other Poems (1998), Picture Poetry on Parade! (2004), and Waiting to See the Principal and Other Poems (2007).
Joe has judged poetry contests, won writing contests, and created a poetry website featuring a monthly contest for school kids or homeschoolers at www.joe-sottile.com. Joe is striving to make the world better one poem at a time.
