About Me and My Book:
I am a full time Hospice Pastor in Riverside California. I have just published a book titled "Living and Dying Without Regret" :Will God Say "Well Done", If You Haven't Done Well? This can be purchased at my website www.joeprainito.com, or online at Borders, Target, Berean christian bookstores, and some other placed that I've never heard of before:))

Book Cover Living and Dying Without Regret

I publish an audio devotional podcast which can be downloaded for FREE on iTunes weekly (Joe Prainito Audio Devotional), or they can be heard at my website www.joeprainito.com I update this player with new podcasts each week, so listen up. I may be a little corny, but the word is true to our lives today; Live strong for Jesus!!!

I am currently speaking at diferent churches, and venues from my book, and have a passion for bringing the word of God to the world in a practical way. My goal is to provoke the church to live each day well, so that when the Lord calls them home, the Lord will say "Well Done", simply because they have done well.

I am married going on ten years, and we have a son and a daughter.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hello, Joe;
I enjoyed reading your "bio" on BMN. My second novel, FOR LOVE OF TEDDY, is out now. It is a fictional account of a teenager standing up against drugs and is intended to show that young people don't have to bow to peer pressure. I intend to write other novels dealing with the problems which today's society throws at young people and give hope to everyone who has such trials to deal with. I hope you'll check out my website at http://www.jafulkerson.com and my page here on BMN.

Dear Joe,

I'm honored by your invite! What a wonderful message you are sharing through your book, audio podcasts and live ministering. When my mom fell ill with terminal cancer 18 months ago, I put my life on hold and devoted the next 5 months to caring for her at home, helping my cousin Christine (a hospice nurse) and older brother Frank. It was the best decision I ever made . . . that time with my mom was precious, and she died with dignity in her own home, surrounded by love. I think God said "Well done, Marita," when He greeted her.

At the time, I was tempted to write a book all about the experience, but it seems you have done so, and from a much broader perspective. The book that did fall into my head during that period (one day on a walk) was the story of this wise-ass, good-hearted kid named "Mercury" Lane . . . and so this series was born. It has a Bible-based, Christian message imbedded in the plot, but not overbearing or preachy, just there, organic to the story. I hope it will reach cynical, world-wise kids from 12 - 22 (and their parents) who are looking for the true freedom that only Jesus Christ offers, and the true power of the Holy Spirit. With the challenges young people face in the years ahead, they need it now more than ever.
But I digress . . . I look forward to reading your book and listening to your messages.

Best regards, James
