- I'm Joanne Stein, known to my friends as "JP." I'm a "joyologist." I'm an expert in the art and science of joy. As a joyologist, I'm a motivator for joy, prosperity and success who focuses on helping people to reduce the stress in their life. In addition, I'm a business consultant who helps start-up and small companies with the human side of their business. I coach owners and managers how to hire, evaluate, create, retain and reward top-notch employees. I teach stress management techniques to increase productivity, morale and teamwork.
I am currently writing two books based upon a passion of mine -- bringing spiritual principles down to earth.
The first book contains stories, tips and techniques to held the reader get through life challenges -- job loss, health challenges, divorce, determining life purpose, applying spiritual principles in the "real world."
The second book is autobiographical. It contains my own "success story" and serves as a workbook to manifest more joy and less stress in one's life.

Experiencing a simpler life -- if only for a few hours
It was 2:15 AM on a hot summer's night and I was sitting in the living room of my apartment in Scottsdale, Arizona -- with no electricity. I awoke about 10 minutes earlier to total darkness and complete silence. Things that I've always taken for granted weren't working: no air conditioning, no lights, no TV, no internet, no refrigeration, no fans...no...no....no.
