About Me and My Book:
I was born and raised in Downeast Maine, and have been writing Science Fiction for over a decade. I've completed many full-length novels and shorts stories, and occasionally dabble in poetry.

I currently have 3 Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels in print. You can read about them at my official website, and also read some free samples of my work. I also have a free sci-fi serial planned for the site, a story that will be updated weekly.

Other than writing, I work as a private contractor, and my many hobbies include numismatics, gunsmithing, and gardening.

to stop him!

Change You Can Believe In:

I know it has been a while since I had the time to get on Book Marketing Network. The site is rough on my dial-up connection, and now there's that stupid Macromedia player on every page that really jams me up!

For everyone interested, I have written a new short story and posted it for everyone to read at Author's Den.

Ingham for Representative:

It has been many months since I've had the time to visit Book Marketing Network, and in that time much has happened. Last December, after much consideration, I decided it was time that I took my common sense ideas to the arena of public ideas. I decided to run for Represenative to the Maine Legislature, and thus far it has been a mixed experience.

When I first announced, people were very excited to hear than a normal guy was finally going to run for an elected office, someone who isn't going to… Continue

I am pleased to announce the launch of my new website, www.martiningham.com . This new website features my current works, and gives unique information about them, as well as myself. It also has some of my favored links, and other fun things. It is still in the early stages, and more data will be added as time goes on. Be sure to check it out!

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hi Martin,

I would like to invite you to join my Ning Book Marketing network. I have been a published author for many years and love to network with others who have a passion for writing and publishing.

If you get a chance, please visit my blog to read my special feature called The Author’s Corner. This week’s featured author is Nikki Leigh. http://www.kathleengage.blogspot.com Nikki shared some excellent tips on how an author can market themselves.

Have a great day.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for accepting my friend request. It's nice to meet you. I believe we are also friends on Shelfari.

I thought you might want to know I have a site for authors you might be interested in. It is a resource directory I started last year.

Thank you for your time; I look forward to networking with you.
