About Me and My Book:
I'm multi-published with small press, aspiring to be Nora Roberts, or at least have one of my books appear on a shelf next to hers someday. Call it a pipe dream, but it keeps me working and looking forward. I write mostly historical fictional romances set in the old west.

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.

Hi Ginger,

You're welcome for the friend invite. I still have much to learn and plan to spend more time over here.

I liked your comment about 'pipe dream.' I think that's one we all share.

Have a good night.

Well keep writing, Ginger. Nora has more than 150 books. You can do it!

Thanks for inviting me to be a friend. I don't think I have time for 150 books but I have 6, a few anthologies and an Amazon Short. Can't compalin.

Best,
Carolyn Howard-Johnson
