- About Me and My Book:
- Every time we come across anything that reminds us of the pain of our past, and the things that would cause us to lose sight of the pathway God has us on or become weary along our Christian journey, we must speak to its destruction with the Word of God. We must declare that we posses self-control over our minds and emotions. We must not set them aside to collect as trash receptacles in the corners of our mind, like I did the things in my physical trunk. But we must take captive of every thought and imagination (the memories) that would set us apart from the Will of God for our life.
Junk In MY Trunk is about what we hold on in our thought life. I firmly believe that we must surrender in order to heal We have to recognize that the ugly memories we have held on to are destroying the very essence of our lives This is NOT who we are. We no longer need to fight giving bad memories power they do not deserve.
Thank God for deliverance.
FORWARD
Junk In My Trunk is simple to read, but it requires time to process the truths it holds. The book conveys an intense assignment on the reader to take action. It is compact but power packed. It compels one to confront and encourages one to be transformed, healed and whole without a lot of psycho-babble and technical terms or theory. Relevant and applicable principles of Light and Freedom are given.
The book reaches out and interacts with the reader. The insightful signs and symptoms lists along with the scriptural verse provides a step by step approach for the person who wants to remove the junk and journey on in life with a lighter load, free from the pain and clutter of yesterdays history.
