- About Me and My Book:
- I am the CEO of Concrete Jungle Publishing Company based out of Hollywood. I just completed the screenplay for Weight a film about the life of Oakland Boss Darryl Reed aka Lil' D. You can checkout www.weightmovie.com. This project is getting a lot of attention, so I'm sure that it will turn out to be a classic film. We plan to start shooting the movie in Oakland soon. I also have 7 books being released in December. Retailation & Cash Flow, will be re-released. Chester Tree, Tonette & Michelle, Maxi's Jewels', Land of the Scandalous, Snake-Eyes and Nic Up Da Way, will all be new releases by me. I'm still working on a couple of covers and as soon as they are complete I will post them. I keep moving the book release date back because of the movie. It's really hard work and I have to devote 100% of my time to it right now. 2009 & 2010 will be helluva years for me and my company. I am in search of book writers, so if you think you have what it takes to be published, get at me. I also need fresh faces for covers. I'm using Book Marketing Network to network. I come from nothing and I have my hands in a lot of stuff right now, so remember my name.

Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
