- About Me and My Book:
- Hello everybody,
I am a Homoeopathic Physician with varied interests in Philosophy, Psycholology, Yoga & Spirituality. I feel that our growth is simultaneous to the growth of those around us. I have been working on this through conducting counseling sessions for my patients and students. I also conduct training courses on counseling and Chakra Psychology.
My exposure to science as a medical student and to spirituality as a student of Yoga has showed me that science and spirituality are just two sides of our own existence. My efforts to pen down my thoughts in this regard, developed in the form of a book titled "IT'S ALL IN THE MIND".
The positive response coupled with various suggestions, encouraged me to come out with a revised edition of it. I have tried to explain behaviour in a manner that allows us to integrate science and spirituality. It allows the freedom to an individual to acknowledge either of the two approaches without the need to prove them. This also needed an elaboration of the concept of freedom of choice, which has been simultaneously attempted.
A section on Yoga Principles and Yoga Behaviour Therapy has been added to show the similarities between Yoga and modern Psychological concepts. Hints have been provided to the spiritual counselor regarding the care that needs to be taken while counseling, to avoid being dogmatic.
I have a dream of a unified, peaceful and healthy universe. My book is an attempt to help heal individuals that would contribute to the universal healing though in a small way. The need is for spreading the message further. This network has provided me the oportunity ask for suggestions, collaboration as also the best wishes of fellow members in my effort.

Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
