- Aloha. I'm a former School Psychologist who has used Booksurge LLC to publish a number of novels set in Hawaii, Malaysia, Tahiti, New York and Australia. I have a new one set in Alaska just being published. My screenplay "Journey Great Barrier Reef" was a winner in the 2003 Telluride Indiefest Screenplay Contest and my novel "Aloha and MaiTais" received a 5 star review from Midwest Book Review.

New Alaska Novel
Hi All:
I'm very excited about my new novel called "Alaska Now: A Novel About Alaskan Oil, Native Corporations, Wildlife, Identity and Love." The reason I'm excited is because the novel is my way of contributing to the conservation efforts to save the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and the National Petroleum Reserve from the Bush Administration's efforts to open these pristine wildlife refuges to oil drilling. By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
