- Hypocrisy, deceit, jealousy, and lust are the components of No Politickin on the Job as fidelity, morality, ethics, and compassion created it. Why is it acceptable for one to throw verbal tactics on another to cool the hungry mean spirited mind of a group within its presence to then agree with the victim in secrecy? Majority may rule but it doesn’t make the outcome right. No Politickin on the Job explores the negative soul of human nature based upon the authors’ personal experience setting the stage for what is yet to come. I look forward to the response. We either spend the majority of our lives with the people that we don’t love-in a different fashion or dislike. Normally, we work an eight hour shift realistically many people work 12-16 hour shift to make ends meet. Scribblers’ Retreat is a non-profit organization established with the goal of reaching writers of all ages; to inspire and promote their hidden gifts and talents.
By involving the local community, authors, publishers, editors, journalists and all forms of the literary world, we are opening their minds and bringing hope where there was doubt.
Scribblers’ Retreat is not the typical classroom setting. It was designed to bring world-class authors, literature professors, editors, journalists, illustrators, photo journalists, proofreaders, publishers, publicists, screenplay writers, and website/graphic designers, etc. one-on-one with young and old alike. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who has had a manuscript in a desk drawer for 40 years or who has an outstanding poem that simply must be read.
