Something About Me and My Book:: Celebrating fifty - yes, 50 - years with diabetes is reflected in "My Diabetic Soul - An Autobiography." From infancy to menopause, I share my life's tumults and joys while yearning to stay alive on a day-to-day basis. My intentions with this book is to inspire the 24-plus million diabetic in these United States alone. I need to share with the world that this does not have to be a death sentence. I share many things with this art. For instance, the best thing any diabetic can learn is strategizing toward daily - yes, daily - accomplishments and expectations.

... There have been instances when I look forward to a productive day with the infusion site comfortably, safely, and firmly in place. My mind is on attaining a goal. However, the powers that be have had something else in mind, something to disturb my peace of mind.
