Hello everyone,

I hope and pray that everyone is doing well and having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful spring. I'm writing you as a group because I wanted to ask you, if you would please share my web site with others who may benefit from my past experiences. I have had multiple sclerosis (MS) for more than 29 years and I have written the book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me, which is my self-help memoir written for the sole purpose of helping others, their friends and family deal more positively with the stresses put on a relationship when life is interrupted by chronic illness or disability. If just one relationship is saved or benefited it will have been well worth my literally having made my life an open book. If you have the opportunity please visit my web site and/or share it with those who may benefit. Thank you all so very much.

My web site: www.Lifeinterrupted-nolonger.com

God bless,
Chris

I need some help with clarification...I am not certain what category my book falls under. It is a therapeutic program I have developed to help adolescent girls with Love Addiction/Love Avoidance and co-dependency issues. I developed it with a group process in mind, however, it also contains personal stories, and the activities and session themes could be used as self help. Any suggestions?????

I wanted to introduce you to a new contest going on now through April 19th that gives you the chance to win copies of 5 books from book marketing experts who have contributed articles to my blog. What's cool is that these authors have agreed to inscribe the book personally to the winner of the contest. Here are the books:

Red Hot Internet Publicity- Penny Sansevieri
1001 Ways To Market Your Book- John Kremer
The Frugal Book Promoter- Carolyn Howard-Johnson
The Naked Author- Kat Smith
Successful Social Marketing- Dana Lynn Smith
The Samson Effect- Yours Truly (not a marketing book, but a heck of a prize anyway!)

For more information, include all details about the prizes and for the simple rules on how to enter this free contest, visit:

Good luck all!

I am a published novelist, but I am getting into the "self-help" genre with my next book geared at helping authors find low cost/no cost marketing opportunities for their books. I look forward to learning from like-minded authors.

Hey everybody!

Wow, what a small (elite!) group we have here! As a published self-help author I am always looking to share what little I know with other authors, so if anyone has any questions about our genre, this looks like a good place to have some discussions.
