I started a new website to help authors promote their books. If your romance falls into this category, please review and let me know if you'd like to showcase your novels. First month is free. Just email me at jane@janesofromance if you wish to participate in the kickoff of the site

Hey everyone. I am not an author, what I am is a book reviewer...I get about 300 views a week (right now, I am still growing) and would love to review some of your books on my blog (www.bibliophilicbookblog.com). Its an off the cuff blog, so its not all drawn out, but I still get good viewers and buyers. Thanks! Contact me: mojo09226@yahoo.com

Please vote in Round 4 of the American Title V.

I'm so thrilled. I've made it to Round 4! Whoohoo!

There are just four finalists left, and two will be eliminated in this round (which will leave only two to face off for the prize of having their book published!). Yipes! This is going to be a very stressful round.

Voting dates for Round 4 are Feb. 16-Mar. 1.

Please vote. It's as easy as sending an email.

To view book excerpts (a dialogue scene this time), you can go www.romantic.times.com or you can go directly to the Round 4 excerpts with http://www.romantictimes.com/news_amtitle3.php

To vote, send an email to votes@romantictimes.com and put the book title you'd like to vote for in the subject. (My title is Once Upon a Masquerade)

The Romantic Times guarantees your email address will not be shared.

Thanks!
Tami

Need Blog Content or a reason to send out yet another promo to your links?
You’ll capitalize on Valentine's Day, of course, but what about the other 364 days of the year?

Invest just five minutes of your “promo” time to read the following and check out the link. You can also enter a Valentine’s Day Contest for a Harlequin Calendar.

Introduction: I’m an aspiring writer who wants to blog about something of value and since writer’s should write what they know, here’s what I came up with. In my ten years as the Recreation Director at a nursing home, I’ve amassed tons of fun, and quirky trivia for every calendar day. The only limit for its use is your imagination.

Here’s an example (Disclamer: Few days offer this kind of inspiration)

On 1/01/ 41, the Andrews Sisters recorded "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". Hey…that’s a great historical book title. (FYI: Amazon lists 91 novels that cite the song) For fun, have a listen to the music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wiVkdVPGoY

What about some of the Andrew Sisters’ other songs?

Romance: "I Wanna Be Loved", "There Will Never Be Another You", "Too Young", "That's How A Love Song Is Born", "If You Go".

Westerns: "Don't Fence Me In", "Pistol Packin' Mama", "Beer Barrel Polka", "Eight to the Bar", "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time", "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree (With Anyone Else But Me)", "Blue Tail Fly ","Hollywood Canteen".

Self-help books: "Accentuate the Positive," "I Can Dream, Can't I",
"Hold Tight-Hold Tight", "Near You", "Rumors Are Flying", "You Don't Have to Know the Language", "Civilization", "It Never Entered My Mind”.

Contemporaries: "A Man and a Woman", "Satin Doll", "South America, Take It Away", "Sailor".

Holidays: “Tuxedo Junction", "Christmas Island", "Come September", "I Wanna Be Loved", "There Will Never Be Another You", and "That's How A Love Song Is Born”.

If you’ll think outside the box, you’ll find daily observance to tie into your plot or genre. (ie: On Hunt for Happiness Day, I blogged about the scavenger hunt in my contemporary romance)

Visit http:///HappyDazeblog.blogspot.com. You’ll have access to several offerings for every day—posted in advance to provide you lead time—as well as the opportunity to enter my contest.

As I mentioned below, I'm a finalist in the American Title contest, a competition where the public votes to decide who moves on to the next round. The winner will have their book published by Dorchester Publishing. We're down to 6 finalists and 2 will be eliminated this round.

Please vote, it's as easy as sending an email.
Voting for Round 3 began this week and runs Jan. 19-Feb.1

To vote, send a blank email to votes@romantictimes.com, with the title of the book you'd like to vote for in the subject line (My book is titled Once Upon a Masquerade).

The Romantic Times guarantees your email address will not be shared.

To view book excerpts, go to http://www.romantictimes.com/news_amtitle3.php To view contestant bios, see http://www.romantictimes.com/news_amtitle2.php

Thanks!
