I have a query:

1. I was intending using Book Buzzr to allow sample viewing of the two books on www.elizaearsman.com

2. Both manuscripts were sent to the printer in professionally typewritten PDFs.

3. I thought I would require to extract relevant sample pages to make into the new PDF for Book Buzzr.

4. Since I am no PDF expert I mailed Book Buzzr/Freado to ask how to do this.

5. Their answer: upload the total manuscripts and then select which pages I want to use on Book Buzzr!

6. My very relevant query to them: In that case what happens to the total PDF manuscripts OR where are they stored!

7. Answer: On the Freado/Book Buzzr servers!!

8. Close as I am to this I refuse to see logic in sending out complete PDF book manuscripts to anyone - far less to be stored on servers about which I know nothing.

9. Second opinions asked for and welcomed. Also if anyone can tell me how to do the relevant PDF extractions/to make new PDFs I will really really thank you for that.

Would you be prepared to take some of these books (20+ copies) when you attend Book Fairs/Expos/garden parties etc? Would you be prepared approach your local bookstores?
