Calibre.com. I love it. It converts pdf to mobi for my Kindle

I would like help locating the platform where a PDF can be dropped into an eReader and converted as originally formatted... with graphics included. I've come across much information about purchasing eReaders, which I own, but still having trouble with conversion.

I just posted a collection of reviews about the Vook, one of many contenders for the ebook/Kindle turf. Some Looks at Vooks

I just launched a blog on the evolution of publishing, so the Kindle has my rapt attention. Best wishes, all.

Glad to see that there's such interest in publishing on the Kindle! With the inclusion of iPhone customers, there seems to be quite a market out there. Even though I've been told that children's fiction doesn't sell on the Kindle, I recently decided to e-publish my middle grade novel (The Partial Adventures of Tillie McGwinn) for the Kindle. As an experiment, I decided to price it at just $0.99. If anyone's interested, the listing for the book is here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0025VLC5Y.

Oh, and Manny, I'm definitely going to have to check out Formatting Comics for the Kindle. A friend and I are now working on a graphic novel adaptation of my book and we'd love to distribute it digitally as well as on paper.

You may be interested to hear what happened when traditional publishing thinking met the interactive community at the South by Southwest Conference in Austin TX this week...fireworks! I've posted several links to the best blogs about the event and their conclusions for writers. There's some good news for us.
