Hello to all. I just joined the group. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there trying to promote a book. I like Carol's comments about knowing a lot of people, and helping each other. Also the cookie recipe to get your book advertised. Yes, we can all help each other. My book should be out later this summer. The theme is keeping God first in your marriage and tells about a young man who forgot that and the problems it caused.

Hello from POETS WEAR PRADA!

We're a small press based in Hoboken, New Jersey devoted to introducing new authors through limited edition, high-quality chaplets, primarily of poetry.

New press, great authors, a publisher who is one miracle short of sainthood. - Angelo Verga, Poetry Curator of The Cornelia Street Cafe

Poets Wear Prada is a poetry publishing house with excellent poets and affordable books with beautiful covers. Have you had your poetry today? - Meredith Sue Willis, Books for Readers

Stylistically, these beautifully designed and produced chaplets bear their own distinctive signature. - Linda Lerner, Small Press Review

This is a great idea. It's hard for any author, but especially newbies to be able to find aveunes to market their books in. The internet is so great but there are times you need old fashion know how as well to give it an extra boost. Thanks for allowing me to join and hopefully together we all can do a great job and get our books sold!

Carol, I really like your idea. I would like to hear more about it. We are situated in Greece, but through the advent of technology we can still help each other, I believe.

I joined this group because my book No Politickin On The Job was just released through Author House publishing. I am seeking ways to further market my book without book signings.

I joined this spec. network today...And just to add my two cents worth...We overlook the value of fellow authors. Each one knows at least 100 people and many who would be interested in our book...Sharing ideas, names and places to go is so valuable. I marketed a book in early 90's before internet craze..by calls and letters and was very successful...If we could pool resources for each other...Imagine all the contacts. We must all know people at radio, tv stations ,newspapers, magazines etc...Lets figure a way to make all these contacts work for each other

Hi all,
I'm new here. I gave up my psychology career to concentrate on writing. Now I am exploring shoestring approaches to marketing for my new novel, The Pastor's Inferno. I am looking forward to sharing ideas. Glad to have such a forum available.
