Hi All,

I just joined. I write fantasy novels and have two published to date. My first is a haunted house story and the second is the first in a series about two sisters in the middle ages. Both books are on Amazon at this link: http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B002SOKFS8

And longer excerpts can be found on my website here:
http://www.feariemoundbooks.com/

Below are the synopsis for the books:

HAVERSHAM HILL
Deep in the woods of New England past a quaint village stands a three hundred year old mansion. The sparkling white walls make it appear beautiful at first glance but under the exterior the house holds deeper secrets where restless spirits wonder waiting for their next victim.
After her divorce Amber O’Donnell sets out with her twin daughters to make a new start away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Finding the mansion in a newspaper she falls in love with it and is looking forward to a quiet relaxing life in this gorgeous old home. After moving in she finds her life anything but relaxing and quiet and soon must face the fact that her dream home is haunted forcing her to go against her convictions and seek out the help of the local witch. Will she take this woman’s advice or seek another answer to the problem?

THE MEDALLION - BOOK ONE - THE PROPHECY
This medieval fantasy follows the lives of Alana and Anwen, two sisters from a peasant family who enjoy their peaceful lives until raiders attack. The hamlet burned to the ground, their parents murdered, the girls are left to survive alone. The only object Anwen could rescue is a mysterious medallion which once belonged to a wizard.

Raiders capture, rape and enslave Alana, ultimately selling her to another criminal. Sick and broken she finally escapes and ends up at an inn where she begins to see a glimmer of hope for a better future.

Anwen struggles to her grandmother’s village where she is trained in the healing arts. She is tormented by visions of her sister in the hands of the raiders. She begins to suspect the medallion has powers that will help her find Alana. Anwen eventually goes on a quest to discover what the symbols mean.

The Medallion’s characters face their challenges with determination and courage. Will Anwen discover the secret behind the Medallion? Will Alana find a better life? Will the sisters be reunited?

This gripping and extensively researched historical fantasy of human courage in the middle ages focuses on a fascinating time in history due to upheaval that can change things in an instant. Adult fans of Marion Zimmer Bradley’s work will enjoy this story about strength and ingenuity of women from ancient times.

Since childhood the author has been a fan of fairy tales and magical stories. Anwen and Alana have long moved the author’s spirit to tell their story.

The Children of The Dragon series of science fiction/vampire novels is a chronicle of the Xosan, living vampires from the planet Antellus. They are stories of science fiction, fact and fantasy, myth and history, tragedy and triumph; linked together by the theme of the vampire as hero. 7 books are currently available (on Amazon, too!):
Destiny's Forge, To Taste The Dragon's Blood, NAGRASANTI, an illustrated anthology, Red Dragon, The Queen's Marksman, The Black Witch, and VIRUS. Each book links to the other by a series of common characters, but slowly go back in time. The series origins predates most of the current popular vampire books in print now, and ebooks are also available. Visit the book pages to get the whole story. Thanks.

Hello everyone,
I released my first novel on August 5, 2009.
Title: Fawcetta: Voices and Echoes of the Coliseum Volume I
ISBN: 9781449013202

About the book:
They say dreams are for those who feel the need to be a part of something bigger. They say fantasies exist in the minds of those who are free spirited. They say illusion is what every man carries through his life until death opens his eyes. Everyone feels the need to get away from their own lives where predictability and monotony threaten to crush their spirits. They long to escape to a place where life keeps them on their toes and the risk of losing everything is always just around the corner. This story, which has been buried and forgotten in the waters and sands of time, has no boundaries, no safe havens. Fawcetta is a world of mystery, drama, deceit, romance, and is filled with action and adventure. The emperor of Fawcetta struggles to hold not only his empire together, but also his family. No one suspects they are being purposefully manipulated and deceived by one power-hungry man. Anger divides children from parents, loss and betrayal spurring vengeance and hatred. The fat of the once peaceful paradise is placed in the hands of a young Guardian named Kaina. She must find a way to find her soul-mate in order to open the one gate that will save their beloved planet from falling into total darkness. Othewise, Fawcetta's days are numbered.

Available from:
Barnsandnoble.com, Amazon.com, Borders.com and Authorhouse.com

Edition: Paperback, E-book and Hardback

OVERVIEW: Dreams…what are they, and why do we have them? I have ventured into the realms of the unconscious. Questioning the persona within my dreams, on the secrets of the dream realms. I have returned with answers that will shock, and leave you spellbound. Join me in my first true-life book of the theories, and realities of the worlds that await us behind closed eyes. I wrote this book, following true events in my life. I’ve been writing from the age of eighteen, and now I’m thirty-five. With so many years in the literary field, I feel my story is ready to be shared with others. It may seem like pure Fiction when you read it. Yet, keep it in mind as you do read that it is far from the realm of mere storytelling. All my life, I have relied upon Dreams to keep me sane. Growing up, my dreams were my only true escape from the harsh reality, some call life.

Hello My second ghost story for teeangers has just been published by Blackleaf Publishing group, and is available on Amazon.co.uk.´'Cold Hell in Darley Dene' tells the story of a young teenager who comes across a long forgotten bomb shelter. Years before, during the Second world War, the area where the shelter is used to be an army camp. It was hit during the terrible March blitz on Merseyside in 1941.
Through a series of increasingly frightening encounters, the hero is guided towards helping the ghosts of the men killed there to find them a suitable resting place.
But he is thwarted along the way by his nemesis, a formidable bully who has his own ghosts to dispell.
The climax is truly horrifying.
The book has received rave reviews on Authonomy and on amazon itself.
Check it out and see - I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Hi everyone,
I just finished my first (SF) novel: The Last Messiah (though my working title was the The Bodhisattva Strain). This is the novel I always wanted to write. It's about a priest - he looks alike like a Dominican - who was created created to provide a body for the soon-to-be-reincarnated 15th Messiah. The 14th Messiah stipulated before her passing a thousand years before, that she would reappear as her adult self, and set out her plan for how this was to be done. Trouble is, my priest has other plans. Trouble is, the world desperately needs a messiah. Trouble is, the last time Huldra Ven Marsden was alive, she was nothing but trouble. Talk about pressure. I love it. Anyway, it's done, and I'm thinking 2 sequels. It ended up being 250 000 words long and having a glossary and 8 appendices. Now I'm looking for an agent. During November I'll take advantage of NanoWriMo to write the first draft of my next novel, a mainstream. Meantime, I've just started paragliding lessons, and let me tell you, the person who invented the word awesome was definitely a paraglider pilot. See ya.
