Looking for Good Book Marketing Tips?

Are you Twittering? Please follow me for all the gobs of info I want to share here but just don't have time to post it all.

I'm Lisa Copen, the founder of Christian Authors Connection. There are lots of people who sign up for this group, but then are too busy to post. I try to send out a weekly question for people to respond to, but even then we just get a few responses. Let me know what we can do to best serve your needs.

Through consistent small steps anyone can build that "platform" you hear so much about. I hope you will visit my web site for more articles, and information on my book marketing ebooks where I've tried to put all this information together!

There are reviews posted for two of my books on Amazon. I'm so thrilled. And I've just heard I'll have stories in Maybe Tomorrow and Voicecatcher 4.

I did an interview with my local news station, Channel 31 yesterday. (I was featured in the "Focus on Faith" section. I always thought, "if I ever had the chance to talk about my book on television, I would plug it by repeating the title of the novel and by saying the website over and over (www.nicolecschroeder.com, www.nicolecschroeder.com... LOL) BUT when I sat in front of the camera yesterday, the only thing that I wanted to plug was Jesus.... and that has made ALL the difference in the world.

I'd like to invite the Christian community to consider my book, Lessons From the Phantom of the Opera. As a Christian, the story profoundly touched my heart after reading Leroux's original words spoken by Erik, the Phantom, "All I wanted was to be loved for myself." The story itself it riddled with symbolism of light versus darkness, hate versus love, along with strong themes of compassion, redemption, and unconditional acceptance. If you're looking for a personal Phantom journal, a book club discussion, or a teacher/student study guide in Christian schools, I believe you will be pleased at the thoughtful and touching work. Thank you. Lessons From the Phantom of the Opera

You’ve decided to blog. Wonderful!
After a few posts, sit back, and ask yourself these questions:
1.) Why am I blogging? To create an author platform.
2.) What am I hoping to gain from blogging? Followers (potential buyers) that will revisit my site.
3.) Who am I targeting for a viewing audience? People who are interested in my genre.
To *Conquer All Obstacles* let’s assume blogging is a learned skill. Here are 7 Steps to help perfect your blogging skill:

2.) Twusted Twitter Twools and Twips

Why is everyone talking about Twitter?
Is this just a phase or will this be the next form of interaction to replace our blogs?
Today, many media social networkers are twalking or twyping with a form of speech impediment. But this is no speech impediment…this is the new world of Twitter.
