"SYMPHONY OF YOUR KARMA"
ISBN 978-0-9705349-5-8

I'm proud to announce the publication by Avanty House my new book: "SYMPHONY OF YOUR KARMA."

Review: “In this remarkably well-written book, Rachel Madorsky gives us a fulsome, scholarly and significant history of Karma as it has been understood throughout the centuries. Through case studies and enlightening prose, author has revealed Karma’s influence on societies and influential thinkers alike.”

I's taking a courage and time to promote your own book!

Good Morning to all,

Just wanted to take a minute to let some of you folks know that I, like others, work a full time job outside the home. And I, like others, check our emails at work. :)Just a thought to ponder, for those of you who add/play music or movies the minute someone visits your profile...my speakers play internet music all day. If I visit your site, your music/movie takes over my speakers and I cannot click out of your profile fast enough. Although what I am doing is okay where I work, it prevents me from visiting your site unless I am checking at home. (rarely) Was wondering if you could make your sites quiet unless one clicks a box to start the music/movie. ??? No big deal either way. Just a thought for you to ponder for your visitors. You never know whom visits you. :)

Go where your readers are. For me, that means Renaissance festivals and Sci-fi conventions as well as book stores, and I'm also very active partnering with bloggers and the owners of web sites that already have the audience I want to reach. I've found that online review sites and Internet radio/podcast are also very open to writers, and again, you're benefitting from an audience they've already created. Don't pass up creating your own web site or taking advantage of your free author page/blog on Amazon if you list there.

I've also found that letting readers download a free chapter or two is a great way to build buzz. I just posted a sneak peek of my newest book, Dark Haven, which will be released in early 2009, and offered a lot of downloads, interviews, audio and video and a preview of the cover art. It's a great way to get people talking!

My novel, The Gate House, will be published soon. I am anxious to learn how others promote their books, and will be happy to share any tips I have learned.

Hi Book Publicity Group,
I just joined, and I'm saying hello to the other authors, publishers, and readers out there. I hope to get new tips to market my novel, Sojourner's Dream.
Thanks, Angeline.

Just joined and looking around. I have one demand book out and a bigger and funnier follow up with my editor....I'd like to find a publisher in the States and a TV deal...any advice welcome.

I have two film companies interested in the UK but they talk too much and for too long.

Back, back, back in time………
Roger Reborn 2008 © William Buster

Fred Krueger wakes up to discover he has mysteriously gone back over two hundred years to a small community in England. Somehow, he has transmigrated to the body of Roger Hallworth who is the son of a prominent aristocrat. Fred, now Roger finds the transition both shocking and frightening. However, he’s arrived right smack in the middle of a swarming, hornets nest of serious problems. Apparently, Roger has rung up huge gambling debts, is in process of being called out for a duel from a young nobleman who he has insulted and is about to be entrapped by the lascivious clutches of Nora, a beautiful, yet desperate wife of a wealthy neighbor. If that isn’t enough, Kate Langdon is in danger of becoming a spinster and she has contrived to have her father make a substantial monetary deal to cement a match between her and Roger. She is in love with the disreputable son of Allan Hallworth and she will stop at nothing to entice him into bed. As the story progresses, a small pox epidemic turns the family fortunes upside down until Kate Langdon proves her true worth to Roger. This is a novel of many twists and turns and I guarantee that the ending will surprise you.

I have been promoting my Christian books and publishing services through Ad Surf Daily as an marketing experiment for about a month now. It is an ad surfing co-op enterprise. I have generated 1200 visits to my sites and obtained one solid prospect contact (for publishing services). I started with a free membership which allows you to promote one web site for 10 days. I then bought $50 in ad packages, which qualifies you to promote 3 web sites (or one site three times as much). In one month's time I have received $15.61 cash back in rebates on that $50 ad purchase and will continue to receive rebates until I get 125% of my purchase price back (looks like that will take 3-4 months). By that time I will have generated 4-5 thousand hits to my sites and have my ad money back (plus 25%). I would be interested to know if anyone else is promoting books or publishing through ASD or any other such system. If you want to experiment with it, you can go to http://72.32.185.200:8080/?ref=17573.

I joined this group to get more publicity for my book The Chronicles of Sin. So if anyone have any good advice I really could use some. Thanks!
