all of these url's how do you keep track

I am really smart and I never have a problem remembering things. However, with all of the sites and groups I have joined I am trying to figure out where the url's are all found and how I can find all of these groups when I want to. I belong to bookmarketing, writespot, authors and their events. booktown, murderinc.kidsread, and so many more. Is there a way to put all of these groups that I belong to on one home page so that I can figure out the URL's and be able to find them and all them to my blogs. I just joined YousayToo and of course now I have to remember another user name and password. How do you keep this all straight?

Glad you asked this question, it lets me know I'm not alone. I made a spreadsheet and divided it into four columns.

EXAMPLE:

NAME USER-ID PASSWORD COMMENTS

I have it on my hard drive and I have a printed page that I carry as I move from desktop to laptop. It has really been a lifesaver for me. Hope it helps you.

I have to go to all of the sites and do the same thing. I cannot remember all of the url's and I wish they would put the links on my home page. I am going to do the same thing. Thanks Fran

Where on these sites do they post the url's that belong to you. I know that it is kidsread.ning or bookmarkeitng.ning but where do they post you own url in order to be able to directly sign on. Fran

I haven't quite figured out "Where on these sites that they post the url's that belong to me" yet. This simply helps me keep track of the different places I have signed up and my user-ids & passwords so I can get back to them.

In order to let you know that I really wanted to find out where these url's might be posted I just went through all of my saved emails and copied where the email said: you can sign on using this address. I am going to save them in my word documents. I can only hope that works. When someone asks for my url's I hope they can find me using these. Fran

Great! It's good you had your saved emails telling you where and how to sign on. I also have my urls, user-ids, and passwords saved in a word document, just in case.

When you find how to get them posted directly on the sites please share the process. I'd love that.

I have saved my emails I received welcoming me to the sites I joined. I also have a spreadsheet listing all the sites I belong including all the ning networks. Through the ning.com you can sign in and find all the ning networks you joined. I found this to be a easy resource.

Do you use the bookmarking facility with your web browser? There is a program called Foxmarks you can use that will save it all for you and you can log into it from other computers.
