Author Round-Table-Anyone interested?

Greetings,
I am interested in starting an author roundtable to meet once a month for authors to discuss what they are doing, what strategies have worked well for them, how they are selling books, what ways we can help each other promote and sell books, and just anything that deals with writing and marketing books.

It will be setup like a conference call. I'll provide a number and passcode for participants to dial-in and join the conversation. Each month, we'll have a guest speaker and an agenda to follow. Authors will also be able to discuss key milestons and challenges they overcame in the last month. I do not want it to last longer than 45 minutes. I'll try to record the conversation and have it available for others that miss the call.

This is all FREE so no charge to dial-in (it will be a toll fre number) or to listen to the recorded sessions.

I would like to do the first one in August, preferably a Thursday or Sunday evening.

This is a great idea, Nicole! I participated in one of these a couple of months ago and was able to get some very useful information on publising and marketing my book. I don't know what source you will be using to host the call, but www.talkshoe.com is the web (and phone) based teleconferencing site we used. Be sure to let me know when you get this started.

Nicole, I think that would be great. My problem is I am only available on Saturdays and Sundays. I work for the State and travel during the week. But if you can get it set up, I'd love to be a part of it.
